We are building a collaborative and interdisciplinary team, and we are excited to hear from researchers and students interested in developing computational approaches to understand cancer.
Research scientist
We currently have an opening for a Research Scientist with a strong computational background. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- Python programming and Linux/Unix environments
- Image processing, computer vision, and deep learning
- Computational pathology and digital pathology image analysis
- Spatial transcriptomics, spatial proteomics, or other multi-omics data
- Multimodal machine learning and image–omics integration
- High-performance or GPU computing and reproducible computational workflows
Experience in every area is not required. We particularly value strong computational fundamentals, rigorous problem-solving, scientific curiosity, and the ability to learn new methods independently.
Postdoctoral fellows and students
We also welcome inquiries from prospective postdoctoral fellows and students whose interests align with the lab. Because our research is highly computational, applicants should have a quantitative or computational background. Prior experience in computational pathology or cancer research is welcome but not essential for candidates with strong computational foundations and an interest in learning the biology.
We are especially interested in people who enjoy working across disciplinary boundaries, developing rigorous computational methods while engaging deeply with the biological and clinical questions that motivate them.
