Bio
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncological Sciences and Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah. My research program develops computational approaches using artificial intelligence (AI) that transform routinely collected pathology specimens into quantitative representations of tumor biology and integrates these features with omics and clinical data to answer clinically and biologically meaningful questions.
Prior to joining the U, I was working as an Instructor and then a principal data scientist in the lab led by Dr. Yinyin Yuan at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (2023 to 2026). I completed my postdoctoral training in Dr. Yuan’s lab at the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), UK (2020 to 2023), and I received my Ph.D. in Optics, Photonics and Image Processing at Ecole Centrale Marseille, France (2016 to 2019).
I am actively looking for talented students and postdocs as founding members of Pan Lab! See how to join the lab.
